Today i watched a video about the rap scene in the middle east. It goes to show that every culture could form there own style of music from a previous genre. The rap is way better than the commercialized stuff over here in American because they all talk about the same crap and its boring. Over there they talk about struggle,real life, and surviving which rap was all about.

1. The plot of the video was about a guy stuck in a crummy dead end job,which he hated, and also his breakup in a relationship.
2.The techinal quality was mad good for the video everything went together perfectly.
3.Yes the message was imparted clearly because the song was talkin about his depression and dislike for his job and the animation went with it.
4. The choice of music was very good with the video.
5. If i was the director i would have the characters talkin with each other and song still in the background but u can only hear the music and after different parts the main guy sings along but then goes back to his life dealing with his frustrations.
6. No i cant relate because i never been a bad breakup or job i hated with a passion.
7. Yes because its goes along with the story..he couldnt deal with the frustration that he felt like jumping out a window to end it all.
8. My challenges would be picking the music and making the characters.
9. I listen to very loud hard music and let loose, yell, break things, or talk to somebody to calm me down and then deal with the problem and try to solve it.

Today i came in early around 10 and helped setup one studio and then went into the main studio and helped setup there. We watched the health show which was kinda boring lol and then we finished putting everything back. I had lunch and then we started logging a video about a field trip to the brooklyn public library which went by fast..so today was pretty good. Now im leavin until monday so..Later

Well today me and Tahau fixed up the colors on our say no to drugs and sneaker commercial which took about all day. The colors were gettin me pissed but we finished it all and then we switched around the original edited version to a better and cleaner one. After that we made titles..one for the sneaker commercial, one for the beginning of the drug skit which is called “Red Devil”, another one that cuts to a flashback and a last one at the end that says JUST SAY NO. I also edited in a fade into the flashback which was pretty cool. We still aint done yet so by next week it will be good..im out..Later
Today was pretty fun we had interviews of each other. I did sound,got interviewed, and recorded one also. We also had lunch and after that we had debates on abortion which i was against. I got nervous so i think ima like the video..they also had one on sex before marriage which was so competitive that we ran outta tape lol..yea so today was mad fun..Later
Today was mad fun, we rehearsed the say no to drugs skit and the sneaker commercial. The drug skit was the funnest recording it wasnt that hard at all. I learned how to expose and use the white balance and also shutter speed to make it faster or slower. We also learned how to set up a tripod and set the camera onto the tripod. Later on after lunch were gonna shoot the actual videos outside around real people so that will be cool. I jus wanna edit everything together so we can have our final copy…Later
Today we learned about editing videos using avid pro. It was pretty cool picking different parts from the original video and putting it together to make our own scenes for a short video. The editing was mad easy even though i thought it would be harder. Tomorrow were shooting a say no to drugs movie with 3 actors, a producer,director, sound man, and camera man which is me. I learned about full,medium,and close-up shots. The video is about a kid getting offered drugs,he remembers what his sister said about drugs before he left that day, and the choice he makes at the end of the video. This video seems mad cool to shoot I just hope I dont mess this up tomorrow lol..Later

1. BCAT is a very cool place to work at, it’s educational and fun at the same time, and the people are very laid back and down to earth.
2. Right now at BCAT I am just an intern starting out but soon I will have a designated position.
3. The skills I learned so far are controlling the camera(zooming,highering,lowering,dollying,panning,tilting,and trucking),working with the intercom and setting up the cables, and also connection from the camera to the TV screen.
4. My expectations are learning new skills and ideas I can use later on with TV production or just everyday life.
5.I am interning at BCAT because I wanna know how the show gets made and the process in getting it on the air.
